- Blind survey for a sponsor
An association surveys its members on behalf of a sponsor, a supplier to the members' industry. The survey is usually blind: it asks about a product category, workflow software and related services for healthcare organizations. Generally, the survey names the sponsor only to measure brand recognition and brand preference.
The enormous power of this survey type is that it generates a significant new source of non-dues revenue to the association, risk free, without depleting sponsor advertising budgets.
- The distribution chart shows how likely members are to buy workflow software or switch providers in the next 12 months, with the median and the average marked.
- The brand section shows which of five companies members recognize and which one they prefer. The sponsor appears only in these two questions, in a list with four competitors.
- The group charts compare likelihood to buy by preferred company, organization type, organization size, annual spending, role in purchasing decisions, and region, and they state which differences are statistically significant.
- The linked-factors chart shows which answers are statistically linked to likelihood to buy, such as satisfaction with the current provider.
- The product-type and service-type charts show the percentage of respondents who use or bought each one.
- The segment buttons show decision-makers, the respondents who make or recommend purchases, separately from other respondents.
- Every chart shows the survey question it answers.
